They were built primarily for Track and Motorsport use, so for one to retain its true originality 20 years later is astonishing, especially in this condition. This car has never been used competitively, privately owned and purely summer road miles and last used in 2005. The vehicle is standard other than the optional Brembo calipers and 17″ OZ Racing alloy wheels. A Stainless Steel Exhaust system is currently fitted to allow the car to be started routinely without the worry of a rusting exhaust.
A previous Evo Expert and enthusiast owner spent 18 months searching for a RS in exceptional condition with a view to enhancing the car with a comprehensive concours preparation. This Evo VI RS has never been accident damaged. All the panels are the original factory paintwork, electronically depth checked.
Chassis only Concours preparation by Moorland Classic Cars commenced early 2006 costing £13,000 and replacing many parts with genuine brand new items, to the standard you can see in the photos. The car has been SORN registered since April 2006.
