Here we have a breathtakingly quick Evo VI, prepared no expense spared for one of our longstanding customers by Xtreme UK.

This Evo started life as a standard GSR Japanese Imported in 2006. Owned by a local customer for 5 years, garaged and rarely used during his ownership. The odometer was reading 8,210 miles when we purchased the car and it’s now travelled 17,730 miles.

The current owner initially used this Evo for road use and a few track days with just a Ecutek power upgrade and HKS Silent Exhaust System.

After a number of track days the Evo Bug took hold a full rebuild took place with new 2.2 Engine. This comprehensive conversion covering not only engine and drive train but some of the very best in braking & suspension improvements too.

With a 600bhp requirement the build commenced, 2.2ltr with steel crank, forged Internals, ACL bearings, HTA turbo kit, Kelford cams, Ferrea valves, Supertech springs/retainers, BDL cam gears, Aeromotive fuel rail and regulator, ID injectors, Gates Kevlar timing belt and tensioner, Cosworth Gaskets, ARP bolt kits, Pace Intercooler and Pipe Kit and Tial BOV, plus a Big Wing Baffled Large Capacity Oil Sump, Fluidamper and many other uprated ancillary parts.

A brand new RS Gearbox was fitted too with the gears shot peened to extend life and improve the gear change action. An RS rear LSD was fitted as well.

Alcon Racing Brakes with 6 Pot Front and 4 pot Rear callipers were fitted with two piece ventilated discs and of course braided hoses and SRF racing fluid. Intrax 1K2/HDA replaced the standard shock absorbers/springs ( with 45mm 1K2 front struts for extra strength ) plus, Super pro suspension bushes are employed throughout.

Richard Bulmer at Tractive solutions fitted and mapped a Hydra programmable ecu. Power figures being 575 bhp in high boost 2.0 bar and 500 bhp low boost.

The build specification is capable of more power if a larger Exhaust was fitted the current 2.1/2” HKS Silent System meeting noise level requirements at the likes of Goodwood.

Since the initial build in 2012 the car been subject to a continual development program with the  addition of twin fuel pumps, braided fuel lines throughout and Swirl Pot. With the new fuel system power is will be higher and with a change of Exhaust to a 3″ or above plus and estimated 650 bhp would be available.

A plumbed in fire extinguisher system has been added too, plus a custom alloy water pump pulley.  Cusco bolt in roll cage was also fitted along with Corbeau carbon fibre race seat,  Sabelt race harnesses, Momo suede steering wheel. Rays Alloys feature on all four corners too.

Maintained regardless of cost, a new set of Mahle forged pistons plus Bridgeway I beams rods were  Installed 100 miles ago along with new ACL Competition Bearings and a new HKS head gasket too, front brake discs were replaced only 130 miles ago too. A replacement uprated Garrett GT35HTA Turbo was fitted 500 miles ago with a metal caged bearing type by Owen Developments.

Additionally the car has just been fully overhauled by C1R at a cost of £5,394.24. The Turbo stripped, Inspected and rebuilt, a new replacement Exedy HD Hyper triple plate clutch assembly incorporating flywheel was also installed. Other work included rebuilding the front Intrax Dampers. New Pace Intercooler and Air Con Radiator. All fluids were replaced too of course.

Over £70,000 has been spent on building and maintaining this car so at just £19,995 it’s an unbelievable bargain, it’s the fasted road car I’ve ever driven including the Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini models I’ve peddled, GTR’s can’t get near this car on Track either!

Fabulous Track/Sprint/Hill Climb Car, or a staggeringly quick road car!
